Tommie Christiaan

Tommie Christiaan became known for his roles in musicals such as Zorro, High School Musical, The Little Mermaid, Grease, Love Me Tender, Jesus Christ Superstar, Hair and On Your Feet. But also from many television shows such as De Beste Zangers (2017) in which he sang the duet ‘Barcelona’ with Tania Kross. ‘Barcelona’ reached number 1 in the charts. A year later he played the role of Jesus in the TV show The Passion. In 2020 he became the winner of the TV show Dancing on Ice.

He is currently touring the country together with Charly Luske & Leon Sherman with the successful show Story of Boybands, an evening filled with all the hits and stories from bands like Backstreet Boys, The Jackson 5, NSYNC and One Direction.

But a solo performance by Tommie Christiaan is also a real party. The SOUL/POP set is filled with hits by Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, Teddy Swims, Prince and sing-alongs like Treasure, Uptown Funk, Kiss, Can’t stop the feeling and Lose Control, amongst others. With his POP/ROCK show, you can expect 30 minutes of songs by Queen, Bon Jovi, Elvis, Blof, Van Dik Hout, Coldplay… but Flemming and Hazes are also included in the set.

Of course, both sets can also be mixed and, if required, his most well-known songs from The Passion and Best Singers can also be included in the sets on request.

In 2018, Tommie Christiaan performed his personal theatre show In een ander licht. Here, in wchich he told the story of his life through his favourite music. He also created the musical show Mannen Huilen Niet (2022) with Sjors van der Panne.

Besides musicals, Christiaan also acts in films. He played the role of drug dealer Jim in the cinema film Afblijven (2006) and played the role of dance teacher Remco in Dansen op de vulkaan (2014).
